Here’s how: 1. Visit [app.marianaai.com](http://app.marianaai.com) or download the app from Play Store or App Store. 2. Click on “Register for free” to create a new account. 3. Fill in your details and set your password. 4. Once submitted, a confirmation link will be sent to the entered email. Open the link in any browser to activate your account. 5. You can now select your EHR and add organization details to fully customize your experience from day one. 6. You’re all set! ## Signing in to an Existing Account You can sign in using your email address or your Google account. That's it! # Appointments and Schedule Creating an appointment or making changes to your schedule is easier than ever. Here's how: {% @arcade/embed flowId="3DbpmrSgfUnDTMNDwW8f" url="" %} 1. Navigate to 2. Click on the “New Appointment” button on the Top Right corner of your screen to manually add new appointments. 3. A pop-up window opens. 4. Quickly add relevant details of patients who are new to your EHRs. ## For Existing Patients 1. Switch to the Existing Patient tab on the pop-up window. 2. Now just select the right patient ID and set a time. 3. You will see the created encounter appear on your schedule. Click on the encounter to open. 4. Click on start conversation to start transcription. # Encounters Our fully automated scribe accurately transcribes multi-speaker conversations to create clinical notes and generate medical codes. # Starting a New Encounter Got a new patient, scheduling a follow-up, or brainstorming with dictation? MarianaAI makes it all a breeze - CARE automates what you hate doing and assist you in what you want to do. {% @arcade/embed flowId="y0VuUEZ3iRjJp09S77v4" url="" %} There are two ways to start a new encounter: ### From your Appointments The simplest - just let CARE sync with your EHR and pull in all your upcoming encounters. Manually created appointments will also show up on your Schedule in the Appointments tab. When starting the session, select the upcoming encounter from the Schedule using the encounter time, patient name, etc. ### Start a Blank Encounter You can start a blank encounter — simply click on the Encounter Tab from the top navigation bar. # Managing Patient Encounters CARE creates patient portraits before an encounter, ambiently transcribes and documents encounters, and generates comprehensive ICD-10, CPT as well as HCC codes and RAF score for risk assessment. {% @arcade/embed flowId="A0cgYoOakc5IAriu7oSS" url="" %} ## Managing Patient Encounters Once you start an encounter, you’re welcomed with the "Patient" tab on the right and the conversation tab on the left. Click on “Start Conversation” to start recording. 2. Our AI Medical Scribe can capture any medical workflow - Outpatient, Inpatient, Home Health, Emergency, Surgical, or Ambulatory, we've got you covered! 3. Every 20 seconds, MarianaAI jumps into action. 4. With the patient's history, the latest research findings, guidelines, drugs info, and the ongoing conversation, it dishes out notable insights for the physician. 5. You can choose to “pause” in between or “stop recording”. ## Generate Notes and Medical Codes 1. When you're done talking, hit the 'Generate Notes' button to whip up Clinical Documentation in your preferred template 2. Similarly, you can see the medical codes in required specifications (ICD-10 CM, CPT, and HCPCS are the standard trio). ## Export Options Click on the "Export" option on the right-hand side of the window to export your notes and codes. # Jotting Our jotting feature allows you to quickly add any additional patient information. Physicians can also use the audio feature to record extra notes during patient encounters.

# Edit Templates for CDS, Notes, and Codes {% hint style="info" %} In every template, you will see the three sections: CDS, Notes, and Codes. Below each section, you will see 3 things: 1. **Sub-section header:** Eg: “Suggested questions”, “Chief Complaints”, “ICD-10”, etc. These will be the names of the sections that appear inside CDS, Notes, and Codes sections. 2. **Note key:** Feel free to ignore this field, it’s only for highly-technical use cases. 3. **Note instruction:** Describe what you want MarianaAI to produce as an output in that particular section. Keep in mind that MarianaAI already has all the contextual information it needs about the ongoing encounter, the patient’s longitudinal history (specially in case of sessions/conversations), and US Healthcare. {% endhint %} 4. Navigate to and click on Encounter. 5. Click on the profile icon on the top-right corner of the window, and select settings. 6. Click on the drop-down icon in the Note Template menu. ### Choosing from an existing template Select your preferred existing note template from the drop-down menu. ### Create your own template 1. To Create a new template, on the dropdown, click on “custom”. 2. Let's have CARE suggest "inconsistencies" (such as the ambiguities that crop up due to patient's incorrect recall) instead of "questions" every 20 seconds. 3. Change the section name to Suggested inconsistencies, and edit the instruction to CARE and ask it to suggest inconsistencies instead of questions for this particular encounter. 4. As you can see, the CDS section is now updated with a Suggested Inconsistencies sub-section, which shall now highlight notable ambiguities and inconsistencies every 20 seconds. # MarianaGPT

We suggest recording patient encounters in segments of up to 30 minutes. If a patient encounter exceeds 30 minutes , you can easily continue by pressing the "Resume conversation" button ### **How soon are the notes available after a patient encounter?** After the patient encounter, press the "Generate Notes" button. Notes & medical codes will be ready in less than a minute. ### How can I add more details after a patient encounter? * Use the Jotting feature to add any more details post-examination, either through audio recording or text entry, with changes updating in real-time within your notes and codes. * Alternatively, to add more details, you can use the "Resume conversation" button to record additional information. After recording, press the "Generate Notes" button to update the notes with the new information. ### How can I edit the information in the Notes/Codes Tab? ### Can my nurse or medical assistant input preliminary patient details before I begin the encounter? * Yes, you can get a dedicated license for your nurse for the MarianaAI platform to record pre-medical check-up details using their credentials.
