How long can a patient encounter be recorded for?

Patient encounters can be recorded for any length of time. We suggest recording patient encounters in segments of up to 30 minutes.

If a patient encounter exceeds 30 minutes , you can easily continue by pressing the "Resume conversation" button

How soon are the notes available after a patient encounter?

After the patient encounter, press the "Generate Notes" button. Notes & medical codes will be ready in less than a minute.

How can I add more details after a patient encounter?

• Use the Jotting feature to add any more details post-examination, either through audio recording or text entry, with changes updating in real-time within your notes and codes.

• Alternatively, to add more details, you can use the "Resume conversation" button to record additional information. After recording, press the "Generate Notes" button to update the notes with the new information.

How can I edit the information in the Notes/Codes Tab?

To amend specific sections of the notes or codes tab, you can either re-record the audio using the mic icon on the top-right corner of each section or type directly into the specific sections.

Can my nurse or medical assistant input preliminary patient details before I begin the encounter?

• Yes, you can get a dedicated license for your nurse for the MarianaAI platform to record pre-medical check-up details using their credentials. These details will then appear under the patient's profile in your MarianaAI account.

• You can then record the patient appointment by pressing the "Start conversation" button on the Encounter Tab using your account.

Does MarianaAI support encounters in multiple languages?

Yes, both physicians and patients can interact using either of the 10+ supported languages on our platform. It's important to maintain the same language for both throughout the encounter to ensure accuracy of the medical notes that are generated.
